Mountin Nikon Monarch 3 scope on Winchester model 70

Having trouble mounting this scope, it has a short tube and I can't seem to find a set of bases and rings, anyone had this problem

Yup some times to mount a short bodied scope on a long action you need to use a rail mount base ( picatinny) ;-) RJ

Here is one on my Rem M700

^ what he said, or talley's with the extended bases should work.

I also use the Talley extended one piece aluminum mounts on my winchester m70s. They make a real nice looking mounting system. About $55. and no bases needed.
