Anticosti Island

Looking for anyone that has hunted Anticosti island in the last few years... I have some questions about it, flights, etc..

I hunted there but it was a dozen or so years ago. Pretty cool hunt. Crazy amount of deer!

Ya Ive heard there is something like 160,000 deer on the island.. Just haveing some problems finding info on flights and stuff..

I flew to Montreal and outfitter had a charter from there.

Ahhhh ok.. That might explain why we couldnt find flights from Montreal to Anticosti... Which Outfitter did you go thru?

Safari Anticosti. I think all the outfitters there share a charter out of Montreal.

Hunted there 3 times.
Lots of deer, but most bucks are pretty small... Actually quite disappointing!
My brother got this one - one of our biggest.

We took one buck that scored around 125 but ya, they aren't big whitetails there. Just cool hunting them along the St. Lawrence and in such high numbers. It's a still hunters dream come true. The food and wine was pretty fine as well!

Im not worried about size... I think its beautiful there and just looking at trying some different hunts.. Leave one island for another! lol
