How long are win cards good for?

I looked years ago and it cost like $25 and seemed like it was good for life... Checked yesterday and its $8 and says 2015 season.. So Im confused if I have to get one every year now if I want to apply for tags..

Maybe someone can explain it as I cant seem to find an answer after searching..

WIN Card - Wildlife Identification Number. Alberta's version of your BC Hunter Number.

You'll notice how far ahead of BC Alberta is with the online purchasing and draw applications.

It's good for five years. You can buy it online and get your WIN immediately and they will mail the actual card in about a month. To apply for draws in Alberta you will need to apply with a resident.

You bet but you will need a hunter host when you draw. It's a great opportunity. I hosted a buddy a few years ago. Too bad other places wouldn't offer same opportunity for sheep.

With our priority draw system getting in sync with someone with same priority can be a challenge.

You are correct on the hunter host when drawn.. I seen last year they drew 3 sheep permits instead of the usual two.

I have seen the pictures of the hunt you mentioned , nice country..
