Got the Bobcat Back

Picked up the Bobcat from the taxidermist.

Will try to post the picture, I'll do my best even though it doesn't seem to work well for me.

I took him to "Heads Above the Rest" Taxidermy in Abbotsford. Ray is a member and sponsor of this site, and Lower Mainland members should see him for their Taxidermy needs as he does great work. If I get my Grizzly, I'll be taking it to Ray.:smile:

Got him last December just off the Sowaqwa FSR off the Coke, 15km north of Hope.

He was feeding on the remains of a deer carcas a few meters off the road.

Did you hunt it on purpose or was it by chance? reason I ask is I pack a 30.06 and would be worried that a chance encounter of my own may leave nothing for Ray to fix!!!

I was out looking, and region 2 has lots, in fact you're allowed 5.

I think it was a chance sighting. Yup I think 30-06 would do too much damage.
