starting to think about what hunt to do this year...Redfern is on my bucket list...or any multi day ride in hunt for that matter. I like the idea of moose and or elk...but won't be available to go in until Oct 1 I think. Anyone willing to PM me or share thoughts on that area during that time of year? Will the elk be there still? Moose hunted out or no? Other options would be greatly appreciated. Always willing to help out a fellow hunter, hope karma is still good lol

I've always wanted to do Redfern Lake too. I knew a family that used to go it there back in the late 80's to early 90's. They had landcruisers with winches pulling in utility trailers. Those were some of the coolest photos I'd ever seen. They hunted the later part of the year so they wouldn't break through the bog going in/out. There is a lodge back in there too, maybe they could offer some info. Looks like incredible country to explore though.
