Hello again,
So, let's say you have a moose draw for a particular zone in a management unit or you are hunting something which in one management unit is open and in the next one over it is closed. For whatever circumstances, you happen to be near or on the border. My assumption is that both you and the animal have to be in the management unit where you have the tag or the general open season for it to be legal. If you and the animal are on the good side of the line and you take your shot, but the animal runs over the hill and expires in the management unit where the season is closed or you don't have a tag you should still be fine right?
So my question is, which of the three things below need to be in the zone or management unit for it to be legal?
A) The animal when you pull the trigger
B) You when you pull the trigger
C) Where the animal expires and you field dress it
I think it is A&B?????
Also, can someone point me to the right place in the regs?
