camping in beautiful terrace BC

Heading up to terrace on July 22nd lookin for some springs, gonna be towing a 22ft travel trailer and just looking for some suggestions on where to camp. We usually stay at ferry island but want to be a little more secluded this year. Any better campsites around terrace or even just a FSR with some good camping spots. Possibly even between terrace and PR. Thanks!

Lakelse Provincial Park, about 15 km. south of Terrace on the way to Kitimat. 10 minute drive from Terrace and about 20-25 min. to Kitimat as another fishing option.
We've been going there for the past 25+ years. Probably the nicest prov. park in all of BC.
Very clean, well maintained, large, quiet, private sites, many shaded. Good spot for kids, large beach on the lake, hiking trails.
Suggest you pre-book a site online as it fills up on weekends. Go to https://secure.camis.com/Discovercamping/ to reserve.
There are three entrances into the park; as you head south from Terrace take the third entrance marked "Furlong Bay".
Springs and Sockeye will be in when you're there.

Kleanza creek park isn't bad, some nicer treed spots right on the creek. Short drive to plenty of highway access fishing spots
