Spot sat phone

Anyone have one of these and if so how are they?? For a monthly plan of $65 you can get the phone for free. Seems like a good deal but only if they work like they should. I have rented several Irdium over the years and decided its time to buy, but want something reliable since its for emergencies and checking in with the family. Thanks

They work good use them all the time at my work pretty good sat phone.

Globalstar/spot phone (they are the same) have been pretty reliable since they launched their new satellites. Get the yearly plan. Same price but you get year to use your minutes instead of a month.
