7:25 Moose Rut timing

Haven't hunted up that way for a few years. Our group didn't get our bull draw but friends did get their cow draw. Now we are just trying to figure the best times to go up. I am thinking of going mid to late October as we went early in October a few years ago and did not get anything as we had no draws. Don't want your secret honey holes just general opinions on timing. Hunted east of Stuart lake in the past but we have discussed the west side and possibly into 6:6. Heard 6:6 can be a bit of a gong show if you are road hunting but I like to get to the end of the roads and then start hiking so not to worried about that. All the road guys just push 'em back to me ;-). thx papaken

Approximately the last week of September into the first week and 1/2 of October for the rut, this time frame seems to catch the rut for me fairly consistently year to year.
