Of interest for those planning to hunt 5-15 Maeford Lake and beyond.

This is to advise you of a Bridge being replaced in Region 5-15
The bridge over the Cariboo River 26 km east of Likely is scheduled to be replaced between September 1, 2015 and December 1, 2015 leaving no public access for the duration. This road accesses Barkerville via Likely. The affected roads are:
Cariboo River FSR (8400 road) in the Cariboo-Chilcotin Forest District. The bridge is located 26 km north east of Likely .
The Cunningham Pass FSR (3100 road) in the Quesnel Forest District . The bridge is located 125 km south of Barkerville.

Hmm great and timely advice..timing SUCKS..but there Is the choice of coming south..

When leaving Likely is this the first bridge over the caribou river or the second one that's closer to Keithley creek?

Second one. Closest to Cariboo Lake.

3 months to replace a bridge ?
typical gov contract , with overruns no doubt

Still have Spanish mountain to hunt.

Does this mean the bridge will be out from September to December... or it's just getting replaced in that time?
