What's the scoop on this POOP

I spend most of my bush time on the west-side of Okanagan Lake, so everyone will have to excuse my ignorance, I'm not experienced with elk poop..however, while hiking through a clear-cut on the west side of the lake yesterday, this poop has me wondering, is it elk or moose poop?? Normally moose poop is more oval, whereas this has the point at the top plus slightly indented at the bottom, like elk poop is as described to me..

There was only 1 piece? My travels through the bush and I have come across deer a bit larger than a pea. Elk about the size of a nickel and moose ranging from a loonie to a toonie.
If only 1 piece it could have been coughed up and fallen from and owl. Hair & bones in it?

Looks like a ball of Hobo shit too me, you'll find lots of it all along the railway tracks. Reason is Hobo's just stick there ass out of the box cars and pinch a loaf, it hit's the ground at high speed, then rolls for a second or too, making it into a round ball, once dried it makes good ammo for your wing walk too!
