Gonna head out after lunch for a drive and look to see if any of our Black Bear friends are up and about in the Chilliwack/ Hope area. Anyone got any suggestions ? anyone want to tag along? if so Pm me with your phone # before lunch and we'll go have a boo.

Gnarly, did you find any of your bear friends out and about.What were road conditions like.

Had a look up 8 mile and 11 mile past hope by the slide, came back towards Chilliwack and was tempted to run up the Skagit but the rain was puking down hard so kept on going and drove up the Chilliwack river valley thinking I'd head up back towards Mcguire and see how much snow there was but the slesse creek bridge is hanging and the road was blocked. By this time the rain is coming down in buckets and I figured the time would be better spent at the reloading bench, So to answer your question no bears and no bear sh_t spotted, Im gonna give it a couple weeks and try again.
