Leupold scope guarantee

I've been a big fan of Leupold scopes for over 35 years and after all that time one failed! I've never sent one back but last week I did for the first time. The crosshairs moved in my 30+ year old 3.5 x 10 when I was sighting it in. I sent it off to Alberta and sat back to wait. It was received on Tuesday at there place.
Today I got a call saying I had a package at the post office. Low and behold a new 4.5-14x40mm was in my mail box in 6 days!

that's why I buy Leupold. faster warranty then vortex and you have to use it once if you have a problem not over and over and over with the same product from vortex

Have in the past sent in a 2.5-8 that was ~ 35 years old and beat to shit.

About a week later a brand spankin new VX3 shows up in the mail. Their warranty and service is awesome.

Wow that is great service all right. I have a 3x9 VX2 that does not seem to have a full range of adjustment sounds like I should send it in for a service.

I just sent in a VX-2 that had the relatively common power ring adjuster stiffness. Less than a week to get it back.

I've been creeping towards buying more Vortex but stuff like that makes me do a double take and think I'm crazy.

I'm not sure, but I know when I looked a week or so ago in several sporting good stores I couldn't find the same scope I had.
