sharptails kamloops area

I see in the regs this year at the end of kamloops lake (savona) there's sharptail hunting, anyone hunted there and seen them? We chukar hunt that way and in a quest to shoot every upland bird ever they are on the list, gonna go there this october and see for myself but what is the word on the area 3-30

Anyone hunt sharptails at all? Have seen them in a few protected spots in the loops that's all

Check the regs. Area east and south of Clinton is closed to sharptail but west out Big bar it was open and they are there on the cut blocks with some tree cover.

Ya if you took the road up to redlake and across looks like could hunt there, and then over to the ffraser can hunt em, will try this fall

I used to hunt them in the big clear cuts in 5-13 west of Nazko. Back when there was an open moose season...the good old days. There was lots of birds back then.

I hunt sharptails in regards 5 lots of fun they like open cut block that are about 2 or 3 years old.
