Well be got underway with a bang......in fact three bangs which equaled one large boar down.

First up as the shooter was Ranger (ret) David Eastabrook. Dave served 3 tours in Irag, one in Afganistan and was shot during the the attempted rescue of Blackhawk down crew members in Somolia.

Oscar the little dog in the picture hung it on the walking, fighting bruin for 8 miles before we could get a few more dogs into help out.

Good thing it was a ranger that was doing the shooting as we sprinted through the woods before getting a a good shot on the bayed up bear knocking him down. 2 quick follow up shots finished the hunt.

We have lots of help for this hunt including one of our own from this site.

Wrapped up the WWIAF hunt last night with a great old boar taken by GAbe.

Gabe served 3 tours in Irag and was shot down in a blackhawk chopper, taking loads of shrapnel in the face.

We had a great time with everyone, laughter is the best medicine they say, so no one will be sick for a while.
