Hi guys
I'm trying to get a start in mountain hunting, been an avid hunter for close to a decade now but have stayed away from sheep, goat and the alpine wilderness to date. I've always had a yearning for the vast snow-capped mountains and back-country wilderness but have never had the money to invest in gear and time needed for these hunting adventures. I'm starting to plan my first sheep hunt for next year in the northern rockies and was looking for someones brain to pick in Williams Lake or surrounding area. I'd like to talk packs and gear and sheep hunting in general, maybe even try on a pack or two. I've been reading all the posts on HBC regarding packs and gear, trying to find the best fit for me. If there is anybody out there willing to help me out I'd like to buy you a beer or two for your time and help.
Any help from anyone anywhere throughout the province is greatly appreciated.
Any sheep hunters out there that are looking for a partner? let me know. I've not hunted sheep, but am familiar with the mountains and am in decent shape.
