I'm seeing more geese and ducks than usual for this time of year. Even saw 4 Sandhills in a field a couple days ago!

Hunting 3-19 for bear this past week there were tons around.

Way more than I normally see...in fact I can't say I ever recall seeing many this time of year in the small lakes I see. There is even a few around home base on Face Lake which I also can't say I have ever seen one. The one loves to hang in the horses field until it hears other geese and then goes scrambling off. Only to return not long after.

I've seen a bunch of Canadas in Langley the last little while. Had a couple of pairs nesting near my work and saw a single on the grass near Willowbrook Mall the other day.

Just back from Little Shuswap Lake, saw more this trip then the previous four years. Also in the Ladner Marshes where I walk my chocolate lab on a daily basis since I live in Ladner and the marsh is close by. Also many groups of baby mallards so I keep my dog leashed.

Interesting thread. As I've been outside the past couple of weeks one evening I commented to myself that I don't remember a year with so many "V" shaped fly overs of Canada Geese.

There have been so many Canada's flying really low over my head while I'm sitting in my treestand I admit to being sorely tempted to fling an arrow at them! ;-)
