Bear Hunting Alta 2015

The boys were running bear baits over in Alta and things were going well. They had a few good ones coming in and told me I had to come and help them out. What could I say....I hadn’t sat in a tree stand in 20 years so I was looking forward to doing it again. First night...nothing...I knew it was too good to be true !! Lol Second night two bears, third night 5 bears, fourth night.... I took the second one that came in. Not the biggest bear I've taken but he has an excellent white crest on his chest :) I skinned him as a sock to save that great crest and am going to home tan him for the wall.
