Flip a coin. Lots of bears all over Sea to Sky. Just observe road restrictions and private property.

I was on the Pem... duffy road and there was a bear on almost every corner and 2 on the straight stretches but the road wasn't much better than a goat trail.
Went through there last year and didn't see a damn thing except cars.

Like Gatehouse has mentioned. Tons bear but be wise of private property and restrictions.

Go for the Duffy as there is still 4' of snow @ railroad pass on the Hurley. Good luck.

Downton is washed out at just past 2k in. Hit Duffy reasonably hard this weekend on Saturday came up dry. but had a great drive all I saw was a handful of deer and a cinnamon sow with a cub. Only shooting was with my camara

That's too bad man. Sounds like you had a good weekend out though, which always beats a weekend in town!

I find the Hurley has much more open country (cut blocks) in which to see game.

I drive the Duffy a dozen times per year and you don't see much that isn't on the road.

That said, I'm usually en route to points north so I've never explored any of the many side roads on the duffy. I assume they lead to cut blocks, just haven't seen them myself.

Good luck.
