So....

Like an absolute moron, I went away for a week and forgot to send in all the limited entry ballots for my family and friend. They're all still as blank as my brain. Never even remembered to fill 'em out.

Does anyone know if the ballots are year specific and I've just pissed away $100,or can i use them next year..?

I believe the appropriate term is FML.

Do you mean are the draw numbers you enter always the same for same season and animal and time ? Mostly , but sometimes things are closed and new areas open

Look here at the one for this year http://www.env.gov.bc.ca/fw/wildlife/hunting/resident/docs/leh_15_16.pdf

Thanks guys.

Now I just have to hope my daughter gets her buck in the first week of September.

Play the odds , throw them in the mail and maybe the leh office will open the Monday mail bag and toss them into the draw bin.

Your daughter being younger than 18 can get here deer all of Sept, in fact youth can shoot any buck for 8 weeks in some areas. The kids do have a few days of hunting before they go back to school if that's what you meant?

Normally they would be fine to use the following year......but if LEH goes online next year(like it is supposed to), you may be SOL.

didn't they say that a couple of years back too...I bet there will be an overlap where you will be able to apply either way

getting close to being ready

Not sure what they are going to do for the people who don't have access to a computer? Maybe there will be some kind of overlap?

One year my group forgot. We were young and dumb!! Ended up on the morning cut off date us getting together the cards and getting them flown from Vancouver to a waiting courier in Victoria and was delivered at 3:45. Cost us a total of 50 bucks.

$12.50 each was cheap for the chance.

I think we drew a shared moose hunt that year and a buddy got a doe draw.
