Turkey hunting - Region 8

Hello, i'm new to the turkey hunting game. I was wondering if anyone knows where some good areas to hunt them are, and some tips and tricks. I'm from the Vernon area. I know where turkeys are, but they're too close to the city and private land and I wouldnt be able to legally hunt them. I went down to rock creek earlier in the month, heard them but never seen them. The season is ending soon, but trying to gather knowledge for the fall. Thanks

Fall hunts are very different for a spring hunt.
Look for a food source or make one for them.
Reg 8 is not too easy for turkeys. Reg 4 is better.

Great first post! kidding :-D there are turkeys around you just have to find em. Turkeys aren't open around vernon I think 10 is open

Rock Crk is a good area, if you know the land a bit I would keep going there...
