I had to retire Maddy from duck hunting last year so I had to hunt fields for the most part.
My wife surprised me at christmas and told me I would be getting a pup from Eromitt Labs in Quesnel and in January we welcomed Remi (Remington) into our home.
Remi has shown a lot of promise and I think she could be even better than Maddy (which is saying a lot). I'm sure I'll have some pictures to post in the waterfowl section this fall, I'm starting to get excited about the coming season already!
Fortunate to have BusterBrown on the site to offer advice as her training progresses, Thanks again!
So here we are at 6 months!

Nice Pup Dano, always sad when we have to retire our partners I dread the day which is all to near. Nothing like puppy breath and enthusiasm to make it easier. Thankfully I have my old girls Grandaughter to pick up the torch(or should I say bumper)this year. Enjoy the puppy time it's the best and above all have fun.

Real nice looking girl! I absolutely love labs and have had several over the
last 50 years. My first one was an excellent retriever and trials dog, and his
sister was a spitting image of yours. That little gal won many trophies at trials.
Although I had others since that first one, I never found one to match him....
until now. My new one came from answering a request from another forum member
looking for a home for a young untrained large American Lab. He just might be
even better than my first English Lab. It's always a thrill to watch an enthusiastic
retriever launch out after a dummy or bird. That young girl is going to make a great
companion, retriever, and buddy for you, that for certain!

Dano, congrats on the new pup. She's a beauty, and knowing you, she'll be pretty busy this fall.

Cheers,
Terry
