I've had this idea in my head for awhile now. I figure if i hit a grizz in the shoulder bone with my arrow I'm screwed! So I figure for best high pressure practice I should make this target.
everything was donated from my good friend Bryan at Western Pacific Metals in Terrace.
we took a 1/8" thick steel plate, and cut it at 4'x6'. I then googled a grizzly silouhette and did a larger free hand drawing with a soap stone on the plate. We then cut it out with a plasma cutter.

next up I drew a set of lungs, with a heart circle in them. The circle is for my compound, and the lung cut away is for my longbow. We welded 3 tabs, and drilled some holes. Now if I want to switch bows it's just 3 quick turns of a wrench.
we finished up with angle iron to hold the shooting block behind it, and a few tubes to hold the 10mm rebar which I then Hammer into the ground.
So far I've wrecked 1 arrow for my compound, and 0 for my long bow. It sure makes shooting exciting again!
