Halibut off Sooke is really good this year,picked up a 30 and a 50 this morning.I've been fishing with Terry Dobson of T and T charters for about 20 years

What are the costs to take a charter with them ?

Not sure,I buy a block of time for the year,but call him,he's a highliner.Boat and gear is in top notch condition.,all safety gear aboard ,boat licenced , registered and inspected. Nice guy,too,been going with him for 20 years.I'm not good on maintenance,he is

Tis a good time of year for butts no doubt! I prefer mid June, plenty of feeder springs to be had by then and tons of Hali's! Enjoy your fish n chips:)

Not a lot of springs around right now,but the halibut fishing is excellent.Hopefully the 'Columbia's' will show in June( we called them Columbia's but they were really a Fraser river run)
