Hey all has anyone been out to Sugar Lake just wondering what the water level is like? Has anyone had any success catching fish. Planning on going up there with my son for a four day camping trip, I want to try out my new Big Horn 3 tent from Cabelas. Will hopefully have some pics to post.

Thanks

Zach

We caught 6 from my boat alone and there were just 2 of us .... 4 were big enough to weigh in ( but we just kept the bigger 2 ) so your source of info is a bit jaded.

This will be a great year for the Shuswap system.

Fished sugar today, nice day but only one dinker Dollie for 4hrs trolling off the planer/fly. Water is unreal low but launch at 2mile campsite still good to go. That bighorn tent looks sweet! Let us know how it works for ya.
Tight lines on Mabel.

why this year?
next year is the peak.
2008 was phenomenal, 2012 was incredible, and 2016 should be another gooder.
bonus if this year is great too.

peak year because of the sockeye run last fall = food for the other fish

but then your 6 may not be typical , IHNFI really :)
