I know I know, your sick of these new bear hunter threads and questions but hear me out :p

I have a girlfriend that has never been hunting or grown up around it. So out of the blue she's started taking an interest probably because in the fall I spend more time hunting then with her hah. She has requested we go looking for a bear this coming weekend and I want her to enjoy herself and maybe witness a hunt but I'm really lost for ideas where to start looking for yogi... There is a lot of FSRs 2-3 hrs from langley and just not sure what direction to head. I normally hunt deer so bears are not my expertise. If anyone is willing to PM me with some pointers it'd be appreciated and maybe I can get her hooked on this lifestyle.

If you have a good 4x4 you could try Sowaqua just north of Hope, Jone's lake just before hope, or Skagit. Not fantastic bear area's but close to home and good country for beginner day trips.

Oh and be careful of park boundaries when you get closer to the lake
