Hey have a question, i figure someone may have gone up the west side for bears already.. .. my boss needs to take his son on a outdoor/survival hike with a overnight camp for school next weekend. He was asking me where they should go,I told him they should just hike the road from the top of the lake to the natural (sloquet) hot springs. Will they hit snow? they arent the most prepared hikers / campers... so i figure walking the road would be the easiest.

I don't believe they'll hit snow. I was in mystery valley two weeks ago and there was no snow except at the peaks.

I was up as far as 20 mile bay in the middle of March no signs of snow. On the easter long weekend I started in south bound from the top again no snow. I would say they should be in the clear
