Eastern cottontail or European rabbit around Hope?

Does anyone know if there are any eastern cottontail or European rabbits around Hope? I'll be spending some time there this summer and would like to do some small game hunting if I can.

We see them everywhere down by the Fraser in Chilliwack so i'd assume there would be even more out that way with less people. Pick a logging road for first thing in the morning or last light and walk it, avoid driving if you can. Even a pedal bike is better than driving. Some of my best days ever grouse and rabbit hunting was when i was a kid and would ride my bmx down old roads with my .22
