Hmmm as I am headed to hospital in Kamloops for total hip replacement next Friday April 17..I am unfortunatly going to be away from this site for the forseeable future .I would appreciate kind thoughts and Prayers yet again as I attempt to correct my numerous medical issues.
I am aware I did leave a few hunter issues outstanding and I am sorry I hope to be back by end of may.
4 days or so in kamloops, home to WL hospital for another few days and then to long term care facility? As our home is not suitable due to stairs.
Be kind, be careful and hope fully I will be back in Late May or June.
Thank you for the wonderful folks here.
Cheers
Steven Rupp

I'm confused, are you only having one hip replaced, I don't understand the care home? I had mine done and I live in a two level house and stairs were not an issue, I was up on crutches the next day and home on day 3. K

Best of luck with your hip replacement. I just had a full knee replacement Jan 27 and it was terrible pain. They did tell me that most hip replacements are walking well in a very short time and much less pain, so you should expect fast recovery . Good luck.

I received a phone call from the beautiful Mrs. Rupp today.... Steven's surgery went very good, he is resting comfortable and is feeling pain free, which is something he hasn't felt in a very long time. He will be transported in a few days by special delivery by his peers of his former occupation from Kamloops back to Willy's puddle. Mrs. Rupp will be heading home on her own in a couple days and her and I will stay in communication as things progress with our Rupster.

I was asked to update y'all.

I see he has already posted up................dang it mister...you are suposed to be resting...............

Thats good news. One option if you get sick of the hospital is to rent a hospital type bed for your house, my dad got one when he got his 2nd hip done and he only regrets not getting one for the first. Helped out with sleeping, up, down, and position when sitting watching some tv

Good to hear! I know it seems like it's been a lot longer than one month, but
you're well on your way. Get through the knee replacements and the next thing
