So has anyone been up the Rail Grade from the Takla Lake side? Does the Driftwood FSR stay good all the way the Bear Lake and beyond? How far can you go before switching from truck to quad,,,and can you access 6-20 from that end? Any info appreciated...thanks Guys and Gals

Long haul on a quad, you'd have to be towing a decent trailer through for your fuel and gear. Below the old Klappan coal mine the road is not firm like the grade along the Klappan river. It gets pretty soupy and the snow stays longer.

The rail grade is pretty much useless after the last logging near minaret. You can see the blocks on Google earth. That part of the rail grade was never as complete as up the Klappan.
