Well it appears to be happening i seen it with my own eyes Bass pro shop is going in a new shopping center on the native reserve right close to the ferry terminal. Apparently the shopping center is supposr to be comparable in size to metro town I seen the bass pro trailers in the construction site.

Hope they do a better job than the one in Calgary , other than the decent taxidermy mounts the store is a big time joke . There hunting-shooting stock sucks big time .

You can't order shooting supplies as they don't have a Canadian warehouse. What's the point of having catalogue sales up here.

i was actually quite impressed with the Cabela's on the island hopefully its at least that good but what a stupid place to put it the gateway to the best outdoor activity is the fraservalley not tucked away in the corner of delta WTF

wierd, I quite enjoyed the one in Calgary when I visited. Told the wife that my buddy and I were going for a 'beer run'. Passed Bass Pro and came home from our 'beer run' 3.5 hrs later. LOL wifey was not too happy.

That would be cool! Bass Pro has the best selection and pricing on casual clothing that I've ever seen. I like their stores better than Cabellas...

yes and and a restaurant, selling boats, atv's, etc, we are the HVAC contractor for the entire mall project, I'm still wondering why Ladner though?

Probably because there isn't a medium or large sized hunting/fishing store nearby. The closest would be Wholesale Sports in Langley. And it's actually in Tsawwassen, not Ladner.
