Monte Lake and a few boats out there fishing today.
Not sure of the success rate.
Seen some rings in the water close to shore.

Yes early this year I wonder how long up high it will take for ice off

the whole season seems to be maybe 3-5 weeks early.
the waters are warmer already, plus there's less snow-pack to melt and continually cool the waters as well.

As of yesterday, Lac le Juene, Stake and Walloper still ice on.
Wandered into my old play ground area Surrey Lake and found slight water on edge
by the resort dock.
The lady there was hoping for ice off by next weekend.
Wolves are up there on the south east side.
No wonder the deer count are down.

Well, it's plus 9.6 in the big city of Pinantan Lake this morning, wind was howl'in all night, and all the ice is dam near off the lake! Pretty early this year. Couple years after we moved up here, the resort owner and I went out in 12 foot boats and big motors and smashed the ice out as far as we could, he was having people come in for the weekend, and that was the May long weekend, was a lot colder back then!

MDEAN This is the earliest i have sen at Red also, I am launching an APRIL VACATION special. So tell yoru buds and email me to reserve. Ive never bothered in the past to rent in April cause the ice isn't safe to walk on, and the snow is all melting. This year even the bears are up, snow is gone and here is Paul drinking my red wine on my dock last night watching the ice come off. I think it will be all gone by tomorrow evening!!!!!

Bears are even out which is early
