Hunting near Quesnel and Tzenzaicut Lake

Thinking about putting in for a moose draw near Quesnel. Wondering if there are any whitetails and or mulies in that area also. Anybody familiar with the area? Some input would be greatly appreciated.

I worked around there doing forest inventory last summer will be up in that area this summer as well. I have colour maps with roads and cuts images from 2013. Saw a few moose lots of mulie does. Saw majority of the moose in 5-13 can give you the maps if you get the draw.

Hmmm hunted with a guy that drew the leh near Tz lake..lots of moose not so many deer..flew over the area in chopper a few times slways looking for moose..always seeing them..

Always a few moose, we used to get a draw in there every year between the 6 of us that put in and always got a moose. Didnt get any draws this passed season though.

The Tzenzaicut lake area has been very heavily logged off in the past 3-5 years with the pine beetle kill. A few moose if you can get up into the areas logged in the 80's north of the lake. No quads allowed and a lot of the roads have been ripped out. Both mulies and some white tails moving in to the east of the lake off the Garner road area, near the farmlands there.

Was there for 2 wks in that exact area last yr. Saw no moose or deer 1 grizz wolves every where. this was hunted by 3 hunters in different locals. 2 from quenel and 1 lowlander always got 1or 2 moose.Lots of black bears . Lots of people with quads in back of there trucks .
