Not a ton of accessible area by truck. Some up the Jordan and some at the top end, but most of it is accessible by water.

Best thing is a boat and a quad with tracks. Second best is a boat with a quad. It's a narrow lake, have put a quad in a 12' tin can. Take the motor off, load the quad then put the motor back on.

Can PM with spots if you want.

Their are lots of steep valleys running west of the lake. most have some roads you may be able to use a quad on .

End of may is pretty late seen grizz tracks down low in april but like every year the snow differs.

End of may in that country is probably the best time if enough snow is gone on the other side of the lake... if they are still logging the other side you may be able to bargain with the barge operator ... lots of grizz up that side that valley does get alot of snow ... last year may 24th on a slide with over 17 feet still to give you an idea. I hunted up there in mid and late April ... saw a few Blackies but most the grizz I have seen and shot have been mid to late may. Good luck !!! Amazing country out there

No logging on the Westside this year, I'd scout towards the end of April. A buddy has a draw, we will go in May 8.

We are usually done hunting by May long weekend in that country. Prefer end of April/early May.

When spring turns on the slides get choked out pretty quickly.

Find the boars in the riparian areas in April or digging hedysarum roots if there were some good slides early before things green up.
