Haven't driven it in 5 years, but the last time I did it was in fine shape for any 4x4.

I'm sure someone can offer more up to date info.

Do you mean the Hurley?

The Highline road follows Anderson lake from D'arcy to Seton Portage. It is generally well maintained by highways crews. Should be well plowed over top of Mission Mtn. Frenchbar on this site would know more - he was helpful to me when I asked him about that road. Check DriveBC? for more info?

Haven't been on it recently but it should be fine for any 4x4. Not much snow this year.

Haven't been along it this winter, but was on it during early October. It is
kept drivable, like Gatehouse says, with a 4x4, or a vehicle with clearance and
weight in the back, because there are several people living along Anderson Lake.
It takes quite awhile as it isn't a road to make time on, but the view and drive is
quite rewarding (except the west end).

Not a road for those afraid of heights, either.

the roads fine.

are you sure? It used to be a summer road only. I tried it in the spring one time (was spring skiing down in whistler) although quite a few years ago (25) and made it back about a third of the way from pemberton to lillooet when forced to turn back because of snow conditions. they weren't plowing the road at that time. We had a 4x4 and got stuck. took awhile to get out. cost us quite a bit of time having to turn around and come back the other way through the fraser canyon... maybe it is a winter road now... just not sure.

This road is always in good to decent shape.

Drove it June 1st last year, was fine (the hurley was non-passable that day, btw). Don't hurry it up and watch your engine and tranny for overheating.

FYI the road was in great shape no snow what so ever, a perfect sunny day 15 at the top too. Only sketchy part is at 15 k out of D'arcy by the Bailey Bridge the boulder hill was pretty rough. There are about 50 brand new Britco trailers sitting in a yard at Seton.
