where to bulltrout

Hey guys, I'm from the okanagan, and I'm looking for some places to go an get some bull trout on the line. had some Luck in a few of the rivers around here, two footers or so. Was wondering if you guys know of any good spots? Thanks!

Not a lot of lakes in the Okanagan that hold bull trout except Shushap , Sugar and Mable and none of them are great from shore . If you have a boat , Arrow lake , Lake Revelstoke , Kinbasket , Trout , Kootenay are all better choices . If you are getting 2 foot (5-7lb) bull trout out of a river in the Ok you are doing very well although IIRC
its catch and release from rivers and streams .

and you seem to have them figured out, as you are doing well already.
if you are specifically targeting them, i would choose upper arrow lake, sugar lake, mabel lake, greenbush lake.
but you would need a boat.
casting, you will be better off sticking to the rivers.

by the railway tunnel on the north east side.
Yonder west from the old crazy school.

Hey guys, thanks for the info! The bull trout we do get out of the rivers is hit an miss, May only get one all day, so wouldn't say it's to successful. And since the roads too these rivers ma. Still impassable, and also getting to the Rivers. But thanks for all the ideas! Look forward to trying one out this weekend!

caught and released a nice one in front of tranquille creek (kamloops lake) quite a few years back. prob around 7 or 8 lbs. caught a few the same size in the thompson near the inflow water for the pulpmill quite a few years back also. big spoons or roe at the time.
