I put the roast from the elk I shot with my bow into a crock pot for 6hr I have not had a better piece of meat ever in all the years I have had lots of elk meat over my years the bull that God give me was just six months into his third year of life here is my dinner O ya the dinner tastes much better when its on a plastic plate all should do this makes it much tastier..

Looks good! I had bbq'd Canada goose breasts tonight that had been in a 2 day marinade. Unbelievably good!!

Here is the picture of that disk a straight on camera shot go figure..

I put salt pepper garlic on the whole outside of the roast,add two cups of water in the crock pot put bacon,onions on top cook in the crock pot for 6hr its a two pound unthawed roast..

I make gravy from the bacon onions thicken with flower ..

I think my hunting partners would be pissed if I told them it was god that helped put the elk in my plate...

I'm not much for praying, but maybe one of them could ask for drier, warmer, sparser and more level ground to pack our next elk through?
