Shoulda posted this a few hours earlier when I was at my parents. I have a whole tackle box full of my grandfather's lures from when he was a kid. Mostly wood, some with little propellers lol. I'll grab pics when I am over there again.

a couple raps from dad's box.
I'm guessing from the 70's.

gorgeous little Canadian wiggler plug.
I have three of these, two silver ones and a half silver/half brass one.
they are wicked deadly some days.

good ol' pt. defiance spoons.
not overly rare, but awesome producers.

lazy ike's.
I much prefer these over flatfish or kwikfish.

this isn't anything old or odd, but....
a warning for others.
be careful of any rubber lures, worms, minnows, grubs, etc, being stored alongside your lures.
I've had this happen to spoons as well as plugs.
some kind of chemical reaction happens, and they basically meld, not meld, to the lure.
worst part is, it destroys the paint.

^^ I meant "they meld, not melt".
they just become stuck, the rubber lure is fine, but the other lure is the one that gets the damage.

here's the 3 wigglers.
my bad, the third is all brass, not 50/50.
it was kinda dull, so I added some gloss and sparkles.

no idea what kind this is.
I have 3 of these also, but this one is the heavier, and a 50/50 colour.
again, I added some glossy glitters.
the other two are straight silver and thinner/lighter.

if you ever see these, k, not "these", keep your mitts out of my gear, but seriously, grab these if you stumble across any.
definite slayers.
great weight and action, and so, sooo shiny in the water.

My Dad's fishing partner in the prairies built custom lures. I have balsom flatfish from the early 50's that he made. One day in my spare time I'll build a shawdow box for them and hang them in my office.
