Just wondering if anyone has a gps track or map of the trails into the Tetsa and Chisca Rivers. I am thinking that's where I will be doing my opening day sheep hunt this year. Trying to keep it a less expensive trip this year so I am planning on hiking in. Can comfortably do 30+ km in a day with 80lbs (way in) if the trail is anything like the upper(north) Tetsa trail. Not looking for any honey holes or good drainages but if anyone cares to share I would definitely appreciate it. Still in the <1 club after 3 years of hunting stones. Seeing plenty of sheep and some legal rams but weather and GO's keep on getting in my way.

Feel free to PM me.

Thanks!

You sound better than a lot of pack horses that I have known. I would love to be super human as well. Perhaps you need to slow down as apparently you are passing the sheep before you have the chance to see them,

There is a lot of moose country to pass through before getting into the mountains there. I don't know about you but I don't waste my time glassing woodpeckers enroute.

Geoskier ......... keep in mind this is a Guide speaking above quote , may be making an attempt to keep Residents #'s down ....... its a great area with some nice Rams ....... It like any where this season may have a lot more visitors to the high country then ever before ... like he said maybe 30 +.... as we spoke earlier, keep in mind what I said, not far away in many directions is GOOD RAM habitat. Give me another call if ya want. If your willing to put on the Miles its a wonderful place to consider.

Thanks again, I do take everything on here with a grain of salt.

I will be doing at least one more sheep hunt later in the season. Sheep hunting for me isn't just about chasing sheep but it is also about adventuring into new areas in BC.

As for the Sharktooth, I did go there and had a great time. I could go back there this summer and likely find a nice ram but I am trying to keep the fly in trips to every other year right now.
