tanners around kamloops area

Is there any good taxidermies or tanneries around Kamloops area to do bear hides.....wouldn't hurt to drive couple of hours out of town

Northgate is good , and within two hours drive

There used to be a tannery on the road to the Kamloops dump across from the city works yard. They did a wolf for me.

Northgate Fur Tannery, Mission Flats Rd., Kamloops Ph#250-372-9893, did a number of hides for me in the past, with good results.

Give Tony at Northgate a call, not sure of how much extra work he will do, but you can be sure it would "cost" you.

just talk to him and he charges $50 a foot.....he said bring it salted and skinned out good
