I know that it is a little early but I am super excited about my first bear season. Any tips for Region 8 would be appreciated.

bears are already out and about in region 3.

Already out and about im sure would be the exception, with the majority not out, still lots of winter to come, but for sure. Will be lots out earlier if this keeps up, can't wait to put a couple down

stick a fork in it, it's done.
sure, it could dust some snow still, but spring is coming.
nature knows, and plants are all sending up new growth and shoots already.

Winter is done. It was 15 C and sunny here in the lower mainland this week.

yup.
double digits in merritt for the last couple weeks and it was +17 last weekend.

lower elevations are warming nicely with grass showing the upper are still under snow. creeks and drainages are flowing well . not long now

Yeah I'm pretty sure we in the LML have seen the last of this winter
