Kelowna Bus Seats

With two weeks to go until the rally, those that are organising bus transportation decided we need to start a fresh thread.

It is of utmost importance that those who are committed to riding a bus to and from Victoria pm Daybreak with confirmation of ridership and number of people travelling with them.

The cost to ride round trip is $80 give or take a few dollars.

Tentatively, the bus will leave the old Zellers parking lot Sunday March 1st and return Monday March 2nd.

Hotel rooms are available at $80 and $110. Some billet arrangements are also available .

Again, it is of utmost importance that interested parties pm Daybreak with an email address for means of confirmation.

Finally, please do not clutter this thread with anything other than your username as an expression of interest to travel. Any and all questions will gladly be answered through pm.

Even if we don't have enough for a separate charter, we can car pool to Victoria or meet the Kamloops bus in Merritt....but it would sure be nice to fill a bus from here.

Another member sourced the best spot to park the buses. The driver would drop you off at the legislature and take the bus to another location (5 minute drive). There is a restaurant and great walking at the parking location, this should keep the driver occupied for a few hours.

The best address to park the buses is 95 Dallas Rd. It is a Robbins parking lot, right near the Helijet. The rates are $1.50 per stall per hour or $5 per stall for 12 hours. The buses need to be parked into the stalls and typically it takes two stalls per bus. It's a no-no to park across the stalls

Insufficient interest in the bus from Kelowna to Victoria to make it feasible. Most have decided to drive themselves or ride with friends.
