hi guys....anyone hunt this river?.
...going up there sept 10-30th.....plan on 2 jet boats!....any suggestions/tips would be awesome!...i have been there before in the upper stretch.near the dease bridge crossing but.never.down river past the old moose meadows campsite into the rapids!!....thx larry

Do it while ya can ....... Likely to go LEH soon because of all the recent BS ...... then good luck getting tag some big moose up that way.

Yes big moose indeed haven't been up that far but I can't see why not unless it gets too shallow

yes..water levels could be an issue...worse case is go above boya to the rec site and luanch but that bank is not the best for getting a boat down and the site is small so could fill up?.....have a big truck winch so would be doable plus the hunt would be upsteam and not down.stream which is safer!

Was up there last fall. Still moose but numbers down 30-40% over last few years. (Family members owned moose meadows).

trip from moose meadows upstream to dease crossing?.....ample water on step?

Was there last fall as well,lots of water. Not as many moose around as most years.
From Cotton Lake to Dease crossing is no problem most years but 2013 was real low water and was tricky.
There are a few rocks and shallow spots.
