Thanks for posting. Whoever wrote that comment at the bottom, great comment and thank you. This is what the general public needs to read.

the comments by troy halliday were more informative than the news piece, the political donations link was a nice touch.

Ok, all joking aside, this is a venue where we as resident hunters can really make our mark. Social media is huge! Every link, article, news piece, and letter to the editor needs to be hit by all of us.

Aint that the truth, I try and chime my 2 cents in on each one. I am surprised each time by the lack of people commenting. This is all easy ways of getting our points across, we really should all be using em.

Be good to see way more comments on there and other news story comments. The truth must come out.

Great job Troy!

This is a perfect example of what needs to happen from now on......sportsmen/women speaking out in the media and social media on topics that affect wildlife and their habitats. We need to keep these issues forefront in the mind of British Columbians. There are currently so many issues that we should be seeing articles and videos every day on issues such as this.

True. I spent close to 3 hours yesterday on the CBC site correcting the BS there. I went hammer and tong with one guy who started out with simple misinformation but it went to straight out lies. Judging by the likes for my comments versus his I think we came out alright. It's tough to stay on a message board and bang away when some jerk is just trolling.

Good job VP!

I believe we as a hunting fraternity should spend 10-20% less time on HBC and be investing that time in "non-mainstream hunting" media streams correcting misinformation or propaganda. The average joe public wouldn't know otherwise, so a perfect opportunity for us to educate them by going to where they hang their hat. Lets be honest alot of these places get a far larger readership then what HBC does. Lastly most of us are already in the know and this is a great opportunity to inform others around rather than just at your local watering hole.

Weak Journalism yet again!!
I am becoming more appalled at the lack of info these journalists actually provide the viewing public....
Makes me want to turn off the news, cause you never really know the real truth...only the crap these journalists spew out to the unknowledgeable public.
And hunting is more than just packing a rifle...
How about some imagery a people out there with their kids, enjoying time spent together, and that these opportunities will slowly be dwindled away if the
government continues to go down the road they are going....selling off every resource to the highest bidder, or to the ones that fill the campaign coffers.
We really need someone for Resident Hunters who is great in a public forum, and is also knowledgeable in getting the facts thru a journalists "dumb a** Skull"
Keep up the good work boys...this road is long from over!

Finally someone lays it out there for the NON HUNTING RESIDENT to see. Good job. This is the info NON HUNTING residents can relate to and see how what the government is doing is wrong. They cant relate to GOABC/THOMPSON jibberish and tend not to listen.

Now if a NON HUNTING RESIDENT would call up and ask their government official about these facts, then we are getting somewhere.

CLIP AND PAST THAT TO EVERY PAPER IN BC, DROP IT INTO LETTERS TO THE EDITOR.

If it's an issue, I will absolutely take the screen shot down. It is so well done....I didn't think it was getting the credit it deserves.
