The day I lower my naked ass into a hole cut out on a frozen lake......just take me out back and shoot me.

I fell into icy winter water eons ago. The memory of my testicles taking a full day and a half to migrate back to where they belonged is still quite vivid.

Mika Sihvo? I was thinking more along the lines of where saunas came from... it's a way of life there!

we used to sit in a friend's sauna in the Yukon, then run outside in -30 and do a lap around the house, then get back in as quick as possible.

Now that explains a lot

That surely is a fine way to cleanse ones lymphatic system, to be sure!

Solid video, they had themselves a time indeed.

We used to sauna lots when we were young as my buds dad had built really nice cedar sauna.
In the winter we would either jump in the lake or roll in the snow if it was frozen.

One night we decided to run up to the highway which was only a couple hundred feet away.
The people passing in cars probably thought we were aliens as we were paper white and enveloped in a huge column of steam.
Good for a laugh on our part.
