Thinking of getting the ultra 6000 , but was wondering how much it cost to get it across the boarder.

I paid about $85 for the duties on my Ultra 3000

$350USD x 1.3 exchange rate, $455cdn. Add 20% duty from US Customs for chinese made product $546. Most likely get dinged for gst/pst by Canadian Customs $611. Add in shipping and some handling fees and it'd probably be around $650cdn

i sold my MR for one..80$ duties...unless you use a place like Reship :) and have warranty replacement but on the new label...just sayin:)

X a million! You'll be spending about the same money for a Kifaru or stone glacier once it's to your door so you might as well do it right.

My recent order cost me 45% over the checkout price on kuiu webpage. I have an icon pro 5200 on backorder. I will expect the $425 price to be about $625ish in my hands.

Wait until later in the year. Kuiu is apparently working on bringing a Canadian distribution centre into BC so we can get CAD pricing and avoid duties.

Backpacks have a 10% duty rate when made overseas (other than a free trade country).

You can count on 10% duty, GST/PST, exchange, and a handling fee.

Its always the damned brokerage fees that kill me! The shipping fee should include getting stuff across the border. Get them to send it USPS or to a US address just across the border. I live on the Island and often get stuff shipped to the Victoria Clipper in Washington State... for $25 they bring fairly large packages over and you can act as your own broker by taking the paperwork over to Customs yourself! Saves a ton of money on expensive orders!

I wouldn't buy another KUIU pack... not real happy with mine.

My ulta 1800 and side pouches showed up today no duty or charges??? Lucky me lol.

My ultra 6000 (bag only) just arrived. Along with a belt pouch, the value in Canadian dollars was $160. Duty was 14.14. Gst was was 8.77. PST was 12.27. Handling costs 9.95. Total extra costs $45.13. Half that would be charged in canada anyway.

My Stone Glacier archer 6300 (bag only) rifle sling, swing out pockets and hip belt pockets $360 USD showed up yesterday at the door.....no duty, no tax no extra fees, oh yeah its made in the US, not in vietnam

All depends for shipping. I order both from Sitka and kuiu and sometimes I get charged and sometimes I dont. Put a $500 order in didn't get charged tax on it. Order another pair of $50 gloves and got charged 35% extra.

The 3 piece krux frame, which i already have from when i bought the solo pack/frame.
