Finally bought a new scope

Well I was in the Langley WSS to pick up some 22wrm ammo for the Savage 42 I bought after Christmas and I noticed that there was a scope sale. I've had it in my mind to buy a new scope for my Savage 116 in 30-06. It came as a package with a weaver 3-9x40 and worked well enough. But a buddy of mine ( same guy that had me convinced I needed the model 42, lol) figured I need to step it up a bit. So WSS had 30% off on selected scopes so I hummed and hawded, left went and had lunch and came back and bought a Ziess conquest 4.5-14 x44 for $650 plus taxes. Now I just need to sight it in and wait for a chance to blast a predictor or two then black bear time

Ya I got a swaro z3 for $630 the other day at the westbank store. I was just going in for ammo and couldn't pass that up. And they had a mod 70 extreme weather in 270 wsm for $800 so I bought that too!!

Nothing wrong with the Conquests at all!!, everyone in our hunting party has them mounted....
5 hunters, 5 conquests.....rugged enough, bright enough, and turrets click sharp and true....what else do ya want.
Glad you didn't say they where a set of Vortex!!!!
