Sage grouse

Hi guy looking for some info on hunting sage grouse in the states in Montana or Idaho thinking of trying there this year just wounding if anyone has done any hunting in these states thanks slyfox.

don't know about the western states but in Alberta the sage grouse is protected due to habitat loss.
Montana might be the same.

I think the limit is 1 in Montana and you need a special Licence/Tag
