Last day day of the season. Got a beautiful drake and not a hole to be found. Destined for the wall. What position to mount it in? BB

Hey Dave .... you got one too, I shot a few this year also ... seems there numbers are up. The drakes look cool, eat ok too.

If you recall my wall mounts, flying to show the wings out with colors is a must with that guy. Taking off the water, jumping up wings down is a cool position too.

Well Dad and I certainly are not doing them any more ...... Fur and Feathers, maybe Ray Wiens, not sure if he does birds though. They are Pricey now a day compared to the 70's haha used to be like 60 to 75 bucks each ........ wow I'm old.

I know a old man in maple ridge that is pretty affordable and does nice birds.

I was going to get a drake shovel, wood, mallard, pintail done but I live in the interior now and goals shifted.

My dads buddy does all of his own, I like the downward flight with sort of wings tucked. I'll see if I can get a pic. Beautiful duck!

That's an awesome bird!
I've only seen the ones posted here in that condition during hunting season. We have been seeing an increase during the spring when we are out doing nest work so I guess with the mild weather it makes sense we are seeing some show up at the end of our season.
Thanks for posting, nice to see they are around!

Ya Glen Browning x 2. I don't believe that Frank from F&F is taking on any new projects but you could always check.

I probably will go with Glenn. I have used him before. This one the dog did not get to retrieve. She was quite upset.
