For TBT, I wanted to share my video of a day out commercial fishing in New Zealand. We were hand lining albacore tuna as fast as we could, meanwhile the mako sharks were cleaning our hooks.

Enjoy

Nice! Looks like a good time and some good eats:)
Myself and ten other guys have a trip booked for next Aug out of Washington, not uncommon to get 200 in a day there either! Go home with 20 Each, canned tuna for a few years:)

I found once I did my tuna trip, I had no desire to go out for salmon. We used http://www.westportcharters.com, fishing on the Tornado with Dwight on a two day trip. If you are fortunate enough to bring back 20 tuna, it will last you about a year, and there are no issues at the border. Best of luck!

We did a one day trip out of Westport last August with 10 guys and it was a blast. We ended up with 83 Tuna in a couple hours of fast and furious fishing. Was a blast and will likely do it again... once I eat all my fish!

Any special permits required?

That looks like fun, would want to try a one day trip first to see if I would be up to a 2 or 3 day trip. The rates are pretty reasonable.

Yeah great idea, no need to worry about bringing it home...eat it right on the boat!
